Dadandgrad, you do follow incorrectly to an extent

Guts got the award for winning intramurals, so they recieved a banner for their guidon. however, Demons won field day, and if you follow pictures further they too got a banner for their guidon.

According to the webguy videos, it shows them going into Mitch's waving their caps and chanting their class motto ("2013, Best to be Seen") then Webguy explains after they have eaten, and squadrons are forming up outside, they are yelling their squadron mottos (ie, Interceptors: "Check Six") to guide (through hearing) the basics to form up in the correct place, in order to prevent basics "gazing" to find their squadrons.
