I guess every AFA person is over on Services

I am laughing as I see this site become smaller and smaller compared to the sister services, so for those who are new are searching the site, do not fear, the AFA community is alive and well. They all just moved the party. To find them they are over at United States of America Service Academy Forums - Powered by vBulletin

Yeah, I've noticed crickets chirping here lately.

Well, this is also part of the dead season for new applicants.
It should pick up in the next month.

very true. they could be seeking the advice of someone on here who said "go out and enjoy the time you have" or something like that. on the same lines though, aren't many congressional nominations coming up about now?

The application process should be under way with deadlines quickly approaching.

I would think most MOCs have hit their deadlines or are only days away. I also know that LOA's have gone out, so I suspect the apptmt thread will start real soon.

Yeah, I have also noticed how dead this is. I always read it every few days, but usually the only current thread is the famous countdown

SOS, (name that is) just a different day...
Still like this forum best, easy, non-cluttered, good info.

United States of America Service Academy Forums - Powered by vBulletin -- good for second opinions

USAFA Community -- lots of Helicopter Parents with a lot of "Fluff" (BS) very cluttered, confusing to navigate
Front Page keeps OLD news on it, today (Oct 15th) still shows the WTC being attacked...(Do we really need to see this or be reminded of this???)

I think checkpoints could learn from the countdown, at least there's something witty or beer quotes.
