Congratulations, surfchick! My daughter is hoping to hear in January. What are you interested in majoring in?

I got accepted like a week ago. I just got my information on my trustees scholarship. They want to give me 10K a year. It's like my last choice school on my list though. I want to do computer engineering, but I don't think they have it. Anyone know anything on this?

Allegheny probably has a 3+2 engineering arrangement with other colleges - check the website. Allegheny does have a very good computer science program, though.

ETA: I just checked the website, and Allegheny has cooperative arrangements for 3+2 engineering programs with Columbia, Case Western Reserve, Pitt, Duke, and WUSTL.

Yay - my daughter was accepted today, also with a Trustee's Scholarship. She's interested in studying history/political science/international relations. The study abroad program at Oxford is something she'd like to do.

I might attend to it with my one friend from school who got accepted also. I'm not 100% sure if I am going to go there or not. We'll see though.
