Most likely, I'll be attending Allegheny in the fall... although I am completely lost about how I'm going to pay $35,300 a year.... :/

I think I might be at Allegheny this fall also. I'm only expected to pay 4K which was the best offer I got from any school so it's the logical and best financial choice for me

My son is doing the sneak peek thing today! I recently bought a dvd about the campus that you might be interested in from collegiate choice video. It's the walking tour of the Allegheny done by a real student tour guide. The camera person is not a professional which made it seem even more real. The person from Collegiate choice asks the tour guide a lot of questions while they are walking; questions that anyone would ask and you could tell that the answers were not scripted. I think this was the next best thing to taking the real tour. Would also be good if you've seen a lot of colleges and need something to remind of which college was which!

moinsyed - Just print out the form and send a check. I got mine back within a week. They ship really quick.
My son got back from Allegheny last night. He said the college was nice but not for him. After all of our searching and looking for the classes that would interest him and some possible majors, his biggest negatives for Allegheny were bad dorms, food and a perception that there is not enough to do. I guess if everything else is equal, then he can make those things the tipping points.

Besides Allegheny, he's been accepted at York College of PA, Towson University (MD), Millersville University of PA, Roanoke College (VA), Principia College(IL), Champlain College(VT). We're off to see Roanoke tomorrow. Principia is where is sister goes to college and has by far the best dorms I've ever seen and also the highest academic score (92) according to the Princeton Review website of the colleges he's been accepted to. Allegheny's academic score was 88. Oh, well, there is a college out there for every student and in a week or so, I'll know which one suits my son!

Hopefully soon. I already sent in my deposit so I'm definitely going, so I probably won't be able to visit until the end of April.
My boyfriend and I were suppose to go up to Thiel to visit and then check out Allegheny on Tuesday but my mom made my prom dress fitting for that day, so we'll have to figure something else out.
My roommate visited twice already and loves it. So I'm kinda going on her word. I trust her though.
