How are the interviews at Allegheny?

I will be visiting Allegheny in late June for a tour and interview. As this is my first college interview, is there anything that would help me get through unscarred?
Thank you in advance! =)

My D just had her first college interview at Susquehanna U last week after going to several information sessions at the larger colleges that don't offer intereviews. She is having one at Allegheny next month. My advice is to try and find out as much as you can about the college beforehand (i.e. check the website and read the literature). Also, make us a list of questions you'd like to ask the intereviewer (they love that!) My D was upset with herself for saying "like" too much ("I, like, think this campus is so pretty!"). I recommend that you set up a practice interview with someone, preferably and adult who is not your parent. Also, if you haven't done so already, make up an EC and awards resume and don't forget your Social Security Number! Finally, be sure to get the interviewer's business card and send a thank you not to him/her and to the student who leads the campus tour. My D also has a spiral notebook where she's started pro-con lists of each school. Please tell us how it turned out...I'd love to hear!

I just recently interviewed at Allegheny. Although it was rather casual and informal, I still recommend dressing in appropriate attire. My interviewer was extremely nice, and I felt very comfortable. I think that it was basically a standard interview: he asked me to expound upon my extracurricular activities, etc.
