Weird. We still can't get to it. I've tried accessing it from my "favorites", accessing it from various Google links.... No clue why we can't get there from here.

I'm not having any problem accessing Allegheny's website. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?

The problem appears to be either with our Internet browser or domain name. We're working with Allegheny's help desk to see if we can figure it out. We use Internet Explorer, which my H also has at work, and he can get on at work just fine, but I think we have an updated version. Trying to find someone else who uses our domain (bellsouth) to see if that's the problem. It's really weird. We aren't having any trouble accessing any other website, only Allegheny.

Are you using IE7? I've started hearing about a few problems being unable to view websites with IE7.

(use Mozilla Firefox for your browser - it's free and fabulous)

Yes, we have IE7. But D has IE6, still, on her computer. And we also have Mozilla. Can't get on with any of them. Had a friend try yesterday, who also has bellsouth. She couldn't get on either. Last night H tried going on through one of those anonymizer sites - "cloak-" something - that hides your domain, and he got onto the website and could browse just fine. So we're pretty sure it's an issue with Bellsouth - either they are blocking Allegheny, or Allegheny is blocking Bellsouth. We have let the Allegheny help desk know that one of the largest servers in the southeast apparently can't access Allegheny's site. Hopefully they will be able to figure out why.

It is probably because they just posted a brand-new virtual tour on the website. It is so great. I am gonna visit Allegheny in this spring break. Hope to see someone too.
