I do not know. I received the "estimated cost" a month or two ago and I recently got the $15,000 scholarship/year. It is still a lot of money, especially since Allegheny does not seem to be too generous with need based aid (correct me if I am wrong). I'm hoping American University is a bit more generous...

I've applied for a about two dozen local scholarships and about ten national scholarships, but I do not expect to hit big and win any jackpots. Most of the local scholarships are for a one time award of $500-$1000. And as for the national scholarships, if I win one of them, I will be pleased (most of them are not for that much money either).

If only we lived in a welfare state...
