putting AU as #1 for NMF?

Is the Deans' Scholarship or Presidential Scholarship tied in at all to designating AU as your first choice to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation?

It's been a while since I've was at AU (1995 grad), but back then, National Merit Finalists who put AU as #1 automatically received scholarships that exceeded both the Dean's Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship. I would be surprised if this was not still the case, as AU is more competitive than ever when it comes to National Merit Finalists.

There is no scholarship that exceeds the presidential scholarship. AU discontinued full tuition scholarships 2 or 3 years ago. The maximum non need based that you can get now is the 25K which is still very good. I think as an NMF, you would be in good shape for that one.
