giggity giggity chance;)

Stats:

* SAT/ACT: 600 crit, 630 math, 550 writing. redoing if i get 28 or lower on ACT in june
* SAT IIs:doing math I and maybe bio in june
* GPA (UW):3.2 (eww sucks so much but I got 4.0 junior year)
* GPA (W):school doesn't do
* Rank:school doesn't do
* Leadership Positions:Sophomore class treasurer
* Awards/Honors:Career and Technical Education award in Forensic Technology
1st place, 2nd annual Needwood Games medieval archery competition
Champion Ribbon in graphic design department at Arlington County Fair
Won award for most community service hours at a recreational event
(all weak, I know)
* Other Extra-curricular: Teen court and, if accepted, writing monthly articles for local newspaper in exchange for some $$$

81 views and no replies??? some people have waaaaay less views than me AND have multiple replies =(
BTW, my classes next year are: AP Bio, AP Chem, AP English Language and Comp, COLLEGE NOW precalc and trig, Modern American and World Issues, and Law and American Society

your ecs seem good to me (not that i know much, i have no ecs)
but your gpa is very low and your sat's arent crazy fantastic. but they dont use writing, so you should have a pretty good shot.

Well, you can read the admitted student stats yourself:

Admitted Freshman Statistics

Since you have to figure that around half the applicants in the middle range are rejected, and yours are below that, you can do the math yourself.

This year, apparently they had many more students accept offers of admission than they expected, so housing is very tight. (This is not at all surprising: DC in an election year in the most exciting election in a a generation, in a school for which political issues are in the forefront). The American Strategic Plan calls for them to decrease the size of the undergraduate student body, which will reduce your odds still further.
