SAT II Subject Tests

Should I take SAT II Subject Tests since I'm applying to American or does it not matter? And if I should how many should I take?

I don't think we require it. Unless things have changed. I took the English SAT2 as well as Math 1. I did MUCH better on both of the subject tests than on the regular SATs so it was just another chance to impress schools. Since they were only an hour I found is easier to focus and I wasn't as tired. Always a plus

If money is not an issue I'd recommend taking two
