You seem like a great candidate--Your weak soph year is offset by good SAT and a GREAT Junior year. I would say you are "in".

It won't be a problem if you come in with some AP credits. It's very easy to double major with majors in different schools at AU--it seems that a good number of students do just that.

What you might want to do is take a look at the requirements for each of your majors, and list them out side-by-side. See what overlap is available, especially for your gen.ed requirements. For example, some requirements for one major or the other might satisfy a gen.ed requirement for the other.

You will need to plan what you take, and when you take it, carefully, and the double major may limit your number of free electives, but you should be able to complete the majors you want without a problem.
