Why doesn't Amherst have my stuff?

Final High School Transcript: Well, I guess they shouldn't have that yet.

Mid-Year/1st Trimester Grades: I haven't gotten those yet.

Quarter Grades: I didn't know they needed these. Can I just send in my copy via snail mail?

Recommendation 2: I sent all of my recommendations in months ago because I needed them done for Stanford SCEA.

Three Year Transcript: My school had me use the online Docufide service, and I also did that a while ago.

What exactly am I supposed to do now?

lots of people (i'm assuming; but me, i'm in the same situation) don't have everything received (well i guess it's received but not filed) by amherst. i'd say don't sweat it till Feb. something when they mail you what they need.

Hey I'm in the same boat.
Amherst is still missing a ton of stuff that I sent back in december. Oh well...it appears that many people are in this situation.

I know this has been mentioned before, but I think it's too early for the admissions office to have everything organized at this point. If your app is incomplete, they will tell you.

Re: quarter grades--I think it'd be more official to just have the school send them in for you.

I have two quick questions:

1) Does Quarter grades refer to 3rd Qtr.? Or do they mean to send 2nd Qtr. Grades in addition to Semester Grades once they are available?

2) Is it unusual for pieces of your application to be entered into the database as "received" when other pieces that were mailed earlier have not yet been recieved? (My Recommendation 2 is missing, though I know it was mailed about a week before my main application and essays were, both of which are marked "received")

Thanks for your help.

1. Quarter grades should mean your first semester.
2. No, that is normal.

My app is still incomplete, despite the fact that I mailed everything in mid-December. I'm going to wait another week before calling them.
