guys i gt a question! i am international and im applying e.d to amherst! waiit. in fact amherst is the onli school i am applying to.. anyway i need a reasonable financial package to enroll.

but the problem is, wad if amherst accepts me with a financial package that i would not be able to support. is insufficient funds for me to attend amherst a gd enough reason to break the e.d???

wad are the consequences of me breaking the e.d anyway?

Yes, that's pretty much the only thing that could get you out of ED - insufficient FA.

D is applying Amherst ED. She was all about the Ivies until she visited the campus and met some people there. What an awesome school. Good luck to everyone.

Good luck to your D, mrscollege! (My son applied ED a couple years ago and it's been great for him.)

Lol thanks Duke.

Guys, I'm not gonna be able to do Amherst ED after all because a.) I can't be ready for all my Subject tests till December and b.) There are some events I *must* put on my app that won't happen until November. It's so FRUSTRATING because Amherst is my absolute favourite school and now I don't know what to do! Do you think there's a way I could let them know I'd have ED'd if I could? I can't believe I have to wait until April to find out now. :/
