Here's the Wait for AP Scores Thread: The Official 2011 Wait for AP scores thread!
Ideally, this thread would be devoid of posts (other than this one) until scores come out, but feel free to post predictions, ask questions, etc. When scores come, post here!
| Ideally, this thread shouldnt be made until a day or 2 before July 1st.

| Yeah, but it's best to make one early so that there aren't 4 or 5 results threads floating around. If this thread can get 4-5 pages of posts before scores come in, (hopefully) everyone will know that this is where to post results.

Does anyone know if scores from alternate testing dates come together with scores from regular?
I also took an exception test, proctor said results will come in August. Any chance they'll come sooner?

^Many people who called in on 7/1 last year got alternate exam scores along with their regular scores.

Does anyone know why it takes so long for the tests to be graded?

My AP World History teacher is a grader, and she always have to leave school early at the very beginning of June to go grade. I think they do about a week per AP test of grading, probably spread out over 2 weeks, and at various locations (say, AP WH is graded in Colorado while AP English Lang is graded in FL or the like). The they have to get all the scores together and get everything else together by July 1, but usually by June 27-29.

| Pff, yeah right. As if you care about 4-5 threads floating around. You posted this so your name would be on the official thread!

Most schools don't get out until early to mid June, they need teachers to grade and so they can't grade until school's over for the year.

My school gets out early June and those teachers that grade just leave a week early. Plus, they've been releasing score distributions for over a week now, so they must have been done scoring some exams since then.

@Jalmoreno
They say they still need late-exams in, and there are quite a few of those.
