prepare chinese AP

My son is planning to take the AP test next year.
Does anyone out there know any good prep books he can use to get 5?
How hard do you think the test will be?

Also he is planning to take the SATchinese ll in November. He is studing with the HSK books. His school has weak chinese class and has to almost self-study everything. He is aiming for 800. Many say that listening is pretty hard. Know any good tapes for listening session?
We will appreciate your opinion.
Plus we are not Chinese!!

Not yet...there probably will be in future years.
The test is based on Mandarin Chinese, however.
I seem to recall that this was answered, until I saw that the server failed and killed all of the previous posts.
