Yeah, my old AP Chem teacher always tried to predict the 1st question.. our year (2004) he said it was going to be gas equilibrium.. he was wrong lol. It was Ksp. Last year was acid-base.. may we dare assume that this year is finally gas equilibrium??
Hmm...alright - I guess I won't bet on it not being an acid-base equilbrium.
Anyway...one more question:
I'm really bad at descriptive chemistry...I don't know what color is what...I know all the concepts...but I have no clue on how to determine what color a given solutions. Anyone have a book that is really helpful? I heard CliffNotes has a book with all the labs.
Iodine and Bromine both turn dark brown in solution.
Scareya: you're doing really good if you average 45.5 on MC. I know that 82 is cut off for a 4 (which I got on my last practice exam!!) Right now I average about a 35 on MC.
i am in a pretty good shape with the free response part, but am very worried about the multiple choice part, largely due to lack of practices
anyone could provide me with a copy of practice mult choice test via email? (other than 1999 one)
Chances are you're going to get higher than a 37 on the FR. Know acid/base, ksp, thermodynamics, electrochem, atomic structure, bonding and shapes, kinetics, some lab stuff, and equation writing and there's most of the FR.
