How to plot residual graphs on Ti-83

So, does anyone know how to do this the quick was on the Ti-83? I know the slow was: L2-Y1*L1. That is essentially the definition of a residual, and can be quite tedious to put into L3. So is there like a quick button to push or something if I have my data stored in L1 and L2 and I just want to find the residual of that?

u do linear regression with the TI on L1 and L2.

then go to list(above stat function). under "names" there should be a 7th function now call "resid". plug that as L3. graph L1 with L3 with the plot function

u can only do resid after linear reg
