AP Review Books?

Most AP review book publishers publish a new AP review edition each year. Is there any real benefit in using the newer edition? My only guess is that the practice tests are updated to reflect the past year's AP test.

Particularly, I am interested in knowing about Statistics, Calculus BC, and Chemistry. I have a copy of the 2002-2003 Chemistry PR, and I can obtain older copies of the review books for much cheaper. Or should I just pay the extra price to get the 2008 editions?

I am aware that there is AP book recommendation sticky already, but can anyone comment on my selections? Yes, I browsed all 26 pages, and this is what I've come up with.

Statistics - Barron's (or PR)
Calculus BC - Arco (or PR)
Chemistry - PR (or Barron's)

I don't know about the other two, but the one thing you might want to think about with Chemistry is that they just changed the test (last year was the first new test) in a couple of areas (net iionic equations, a couple of other sections i think), so you could either use the 02-03 edition and prep in other ways for the changes, or buy a new edition. i would think you'd be ok using older editions (i havent taken the other two classes) as long as the test hasn't changed - check the website.

For AP USH use AMSCO; it is freaking awesome.
