When to start studying for AP exams?

I don't mean regular studying to keep up with classwork etc.
I'm talking about the preparing for the AP exam using the prep books etc.

Depends. If you can finish a decent amount of time before May, I'd say after you've finished covering all the material, but it really depends on which course.

Which exams are you preparing for?

Most people I know start during Spring Break (whenever that is for them).

Start today. "Today is never late"
or at least, that's how the adage goes, which about 99.9% of the people do not follow

it depends on your class history, if everyone who's ever taken the class has gotten a 5 then i'd say you don't have to start at all. if few people have gotten fives, then start early..like now

I guess I'll start now then... lol. But it's kind of difficult because in some classes we haven't even reached the halfway point yet. Right now I'm self studying some of the later chapters in two of my subjects.

AP tests are in mid-may, and i'm trying to decide whether i should take the corresponding SATII on the may date or june date? (it's AP bio, btw)

it's hard to decide b/c i would then take SATI on the alternate test date

has anyone had similar experiences or any insight? thanks

Does it matter, do you think you will forget the AP Bio material in like 2 weeks. I would take the SAT 2 first because they are shorter and I wont be as stressed out when I take the AP tests in a week or two later.

    I am doing :

    AP Physics C (Both)
    AP Calculus BC
    AP Psychology ( Self Study)
    AP World History( Self Study)
Is this easy or hard to self study?
    I am a senior.

    thanks for the advice jmarin

but i should study both SATII and SATI in these months right?
so i wouldn't have to cram SATI into the wks before june?

i agree w/ u though, b/c i feel like SATI stuff is more like "if u know it, u know it" and i don't think putting it off until june will have an adverse effect

for ap world last year, i started studying about 2.5 weeks before the test. but then again, i took it in school and had a GREAT teacher...

i'll probably start right after spring break this year though, since i have 2 exams to take instead of one
