Hi i am taking the ap english language next wednesday. I was doing practice multiple choice from the barrons and 5 steps to a 5 book. I felt that the 5 steps to 5 was sooo much easier. For example i took 35 questions and i 31 right while on the barrons i took around 25 i got 14ish. Im too lazy to take em all the same time. So u guys have ne ideas if it the 5 steps to 5 book is just easier or barrons just hard. Also if either is the case then how is the actuall ap like- the barrons or 5 steps to a 5
I have no experience with either of those books, but I thought the multiple choice last year was MUCH easier than any practice test that i've taken from princeton, or previous years. maybe i was just pumped lol
I got a 5. Finishing on time wasn't really a problem for me though. If you can get 31/35 that is definitely on point for a 5 if your essays are decent.
