AP US timing question

Actually 2 questions...

So I've been told two different things about they DBQ by many different people. Is it 15 minutes of reading/prepping and 30 minutes of writing for 45 minutes total or 15 minutes of reading/prepping and 45 minutes of writing for a total of an hour?

Also, is there a break between the DBQ and the FRQs?

No, there's just one writing period. I'm also pretty sure you have a full hour for the DBQ, though remember, there's only a recommended time for you time spend on questions, not an exact time.
