AP test drama

So it's close to June, my grades are looking pretty secure, I studied like hell for the ACT and hit my goal, and am in the process of getting a summer study abroad. After about 9 months of this crap, am I the only one who kinda just wants to blow off the AP tests? It's almost like they're inventing tests for us to go nuts about. Am I not fully understanding the gravity of these tests? I have the Gov. test tomorrow, and Euro. on Friday, and I've barely opened my book. Do colleges really care about these (looking at UMich and G'Town)? Does it hurt me that I'm basically phoning it in? When will this year end?!?...

I've been asking myself that last question quite a few times lately...

The main thing colleges use APs for is to assess the rigor of your AP class. If you do well on the test, but not in the class then the college you are applying to will probably lower the bonus you get for taking an AP class.

The scores are often times used for placement as opposed to admissions, so don't worry about not spending a ton of time on them.
