AP French Tomorrow

Basically, I'm scared for the listening/talking sections. i get around 60% of the listening exercises (in Barron's) right.

Any last minute advice? Should I take 2 hours of my time to listen to French news, etc, or should i focus on my other AP's?

thanks.

I'm scared. I've just been looking over my textbook, which is mostly a collection of trivial grammatical rules.

Good luck.

I have it as wellI'm so nervous because all I want is 3!! The Barron's book we have came with listening tapes and they are so much slower than the actual test...
Recently, I have been listening to online french radio stations and watching french tv shows, bu they really haven't seemed to have been helping me.

yea i'm fine with the writing/reading sections

they just talk too fast for me and i hate how they give you 12 secs to answer each question, and then you have to move on

i guess there's not much i can do now.

wdrmhbs:

Don't fret! Past results indicate that 43% is enough to get you a 3. You'll be fine.

I really want a 5... but who doesn't?

Hah well with my school it's rare to get 3s or more on the french exam. Last year I think only 2 people scored 3. I don't really think it's our teacher either because she is great. Haha oh well. I should think positive! Good luck everyone!

BasilofBakerST, i agree with the 5 thing and how do u know the percentages?
my teacher keeps giving me 8/9 for the compositions we do in class
and that really got my hopes up

but i do so horribly in the listening sections.
at least this year they print the questions on the tests

The percentages are based on results from the past few years, during which time the test hasn't changed dramatically, as far as I can tell.

What I've done for listening: I've listened to RFI's Francais Facile everyday (lol, was going to type chaque jour).

Good thing is that today I did my last FRQ and I only missed 1 verb (out of stupidity), but 6 words...meh

For me I think the listening will be like "Bonjour Marie alsdkfjalskdfjalzcvxczf je vais aller au stade qpewruipqieur", then I'll guess B
