The answer is A Horizon (keep the thread going by asking a question after you answer). O Horizon is the first layer which is organically rich (ex: consists of leaves)

Question: This is the layer in the atmosphere where the Aurora Borealis (northern lights) form.

The ENSO is an oscillation of the ocean-atmosphere system in the tropical Pacific. It is caused by oceanic and atmospheric circulation.

Next Question: What are some of the consequences of losing biodiversity?

No idea (less oxygen, messes up the cycles)?

Next Question: This disaster was when a Japanese petrochemical and power company dumped estimated 27 tons of mercury into Minamata Bay. Thousands of people developed "Minamata disease" and over 900 people died. (Name the City, Country)

there are so many answers to that question ballin4ever.. if that came out on FR, anyone could bs through it and if it was an MC question, anyone could get it right with common logic. Let's ask/answer more specific questions.

asc3nd.. umm Minamata, Japan lol?

Next question: Which element is most abundant in the earth's crust?

dude you gave the answer in the question...

to the biodiversity question...

specialist would be screwed.also, environmental degradation. food webs and chains would mess up etc

Explain the difference between stratospheric and tropospheric ozone. Also, describe the process in which tropospheric ozone is created.(chemical equations are good as well)

I am not taking the AP Environmental Exam, but the answer to the upper question is "oxygen is the most abundant element in the earth's crust".

Freshman-year earth science from three years ago for the win!

stratospheric ozone = good b/c it captures UV rays

tropospheric ozone = bad b/c it is a powerful oxidizing agent that can form toxic compounds with other chemicals.. leads to creation of smog

tropospheric ozone is created when nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds react with sunlight in the troposphere

Nope, any other guesses? This question came out on a previous CB released test, so it might be good to know.
