what would i get if i included every document and put a lot of "support" that came from those documents...but no outside info? I probably put some outside info but not a lot...nothing specific...

plus we're not supposed to talk about it but i did elaborate on the documents...like one of them was about xxx and i elaborated on xxx using info i knew that the docs didn't give. and i also knew some simple things like who was president and how he was unpopular. hahaha thats it

dont worry too much and just wait for the scores to come out! Maybe you wrote some outside infos but it's just that you don't recognize kk

It would be very difficult to use no outside info whatsoever. So need to know outside info so you can recognize the significance of the documents and connect them.

i was worried about that not having outside info too.
the docs seemed to cover most of the topics i wanted to use as outside info pretty well..so i'm really nervous now...

i think i messed up on it though since i didn't even study *that topic* , thinking the test would NOT focus on that period.

My teacher (who's an AP grader) says that you need to use at least half the documents. But they look more for your outside info. She also said that you can't let the documents write your essay; you have to write your essay using the documents.

my teacher said you're supposed to use at least half of the docs plus one. they don't care if you don't use all of them, just use a majority of them because that's basically what you're being tested on.

my teacher said they care more about outside info.
in ap euro, you get a guaranteed point for using majority of docs, but in apush, its different. im sure its good to use as many docs as possible, but it's not a furshure 'point-getter'

i used every document and outside info but it was more generalities not specifics- like social theme and change and stuff-not tangible, not details. i mostly talked about how the emergence of the baby boom generation affected things and also how the baby boomers came to be so vocal etc. i mean i mentioned a few thigns like kent state, black panther(i think), draft dodgers, draft card burnings, political protests and riots at colleges across the us, mightve mentioned the students for democratic whatever in mississsippi- but ithnk thats about all the outside info i used----i cant quite remember.
will i be ok?
