Hey,
I'm taking AP Chem next yr & I heard that it's very difficult. So I want to study over the summer first - but will it be a waste of time without the class lectures...etc? I'm using Zumdahl.

& I want to take some other AP Exams. My school pretty much gives a fixed schedule, so I'll have to self-study for these exams. I want to take AP Exams that are related to my classes, AP Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, & World History (are they worth it)?

I have gathered all the materials:
AP Economics: (text) Macroeconomics: Explore and Apply
Microeconomics: Explore and Apply
(prep) Barron's, Kaplan
AP World History: (text) Traditions and Encounters? there are many thick texts out there...i dont know which to get...

Any recommendations? Thanks...I'm aiming for 5s. Will these 4 APs be too hard to get 5s on?

There's a good podcast on iTunes - AP Chemistry WPHS - that does a good job on lecturing. Fast-paced, but if you supplement it with practice you can learn.

Idk about econ textbooks, but use PR and supplement it with Barron's.

World History, DO NOT buy a textbook! Reading it is a waste of time (believe me, I did it in my class this past year and you remember nothing by May). Buy Barron's AP (Barron's alone is sufficient), read it as many times as you can slowly and thoroughly, and I guarantee you will get a 5. It's pointless to spend 2 hours reading about ancient Persia in a textbook (unless you REALLY want to learn) when you can cover the key points in about 10 minutes.
