Calculus AB - 5. My teacher deserves a ton of credit. It was cool, because he is the head football coach and I was a starter on our team this past season, so it was super easy for me to go in and ask questions. He was a really great teacher who made sure the class knew the fundamentals. He gave a ton of practice problems. I also did study a lot, but my teacher was a huge help.

Physics B - 4. My teacher was so-so. He was a really cool guy and a very helpful guy because I am majoring in physics in the fall, but the class wasn't AP, and he couldn't really cater to an AP curriculum. I studied a lot for this on my own, so most of the credit goes to me here.

Eng. Lit. - 4. All of the credit goes to me, because we have no Ap Eng. Lit. class at my high school. I skimmed a review book the night before the test and wrote my third essay about Harry Potter. I have no idea how I got a 4.

Chem - 2. Blaaa. It was the same teacher as my physics class, but it was still pretty much the same. It was "Advanced", but definitely not AP.

US Hist. - 4. My teacher was awesome. He's been teaching AP for years and he really knew what we needed to know. By "we", I mean me, because I was the only one out of probably 30 kids in AP History that year that took the test. Anyway, we did DBQ's and essays all year, and our MC tests were super hard. I give him a ton of credit.

Overall, the only two actual AP classes I had, Calc and Us Hist., I had great teachers that get a ton of credit. Physics, Chem, and Eng Lit were all due to me, good or bad.

Biology: 4 - The A.P. Bio class I took is known as the hardest class in my school. We work. Hard. But I was expecting a 4 or 5 because my teacher was one of the best, even though she could be ugh sometimes.

US History: 4 - I learned basically nothing in that class, but I liked the teacher. I thought I'd do horrible on this test, but I guess I prepared myself well.

APUSH - 5, my teacher deserves a TON of credit. She was incredible and we all learned more from her than probably any other teacher I've ever had. She did a great job teaching and really getting us to understand without lecturing, and assigned us many practice essays and multiple choice (plus cumulative multiple choice tests throughout the year). The amazing thing is that it was her first year teaching it and her students had better results by far than the other 2 teachers...

AP Calc BC (5): The teacher was basically amazing. He drilled us for 3 months straight with practice tests, etc. No one has ever gotten less than a 5 in his BC class.

AP Euro (5): He doesn't teach much in class, but he compiled a study guide, which was helpful.

AP Lang&Comp (5): The teacher didn't really do much. Some practice multiple choice tests here and there... One/two practice essays. I was actually surprised at my score

AP US History (4): I was really expecting a 5 in this because US is my best subject. But, the teacher really didn't prepare us at all, so I guess my score is okay. I do like my teacher though.

AP USH 5: I would say 50/50. All my teacher did was lecture us to death every day. There were rarely quizzes, but his tests were EXTREMELY hard. We didnt get passed the 1940's.

AP English 5: didnt take the class

AP Bio 3: w/ no credit to my know-nothing teacher!

AP Spanish 4: virtual self-study = little credit to my teacher! At one point or another, I was the one running the class.

AP English Language: (3) The course was only one semester and my teacher was in his last semester of teaching (he went on to do an assistance principal gig at the middle school), so he didn't really care about the course. We read about three books, wrote maybe five papers, and talked about his kid and fishing trips. Throughly disappointed. With the exception of my friend and I, everyone got a 1 on the exam.

AP U.S. History: (5) Terrible teacher. It was her second year teaching AP U.S. History and all she did was complain that one semester is not long enough to teach U.S. History. Well, it obviously was because I got a 5 on the exam. I credit her about 25% to my 75%.

AP Human Geography: (5->Self-Study) My teacher was freaking amazing. His name is Sligh_Anarchist.

Chemistry - 5 (A- in class): We had 2 teachers and I honestly think the assistant teacher deserves more credit than our main teacher. The assistant was a graduate fresh from Cornell but his enthusiasm really made Chem soo fun. I am honestly surprised with getting a 5 - was expecting a 3 or maybe 4, but I have to give credit to my Barron's book which I used EXTENSIVELY (min. 3 or 4 hrs a day for 2-3 weeks).

Calc AB - 4 (A- in class): I don't rejoice in saying this but he is absolutely the WORST mathematics teacher I have ever known. This includes my elementary school teachers. I understand that there's not much "new" material to learn in Calc, but the man does not TEACH! He expects us to just do problems on our own in a complicated college level textbook we use, and he does NOT enjoy helping us. I had a terrible time in his class this year, and I am really going to get some extra help from a new Calc teacher because this same man teaches Calc BC .. joy ...
