AP Stats
AP Calc BC
AP Lit
AP Physics

but i could possibly take AP Comp gov second semester (would be after applying to college)

i am not interested in it all that much, but i am wondering if i take it, would it help my chances or hurt them by not taking it? do you think the courses i have above is okay or not?

Um the classes you have are very good. The thing is taking AP comp isn't too bad because you send to colleges your classes for both semesters on your application. I think you should just take AP comp.

Don't take it if you're not interested. If you're not interested/don't plan to use it for credit, it would basically be a huge waste of time and effort, and usually when people sign up for courses they're not invested in, it reflects in the end grade. Save your time to study for the ones you want to do well on.

One more AP won't make or break your transcript, and you've already got a good selection. I don't think adding another would impact your application one way or another. Use the time you *won't* be spending studying for an exam in Comp Gov that you don't care about to hang out with friends/play video games/de-stress/enjoy senior year.
