AP score for college admin.

Do colleges care about AP scores as part of the adminstration process (like with SAT/ECs/GPA/Awards...)?

My school puts AP scores on transcripts, but does that mean anything?

Nope; I was never asked for any AP scores on any applications. They do ask your schedule so you will put down the AP courses you are currently taking. At least that was my experience.

The common app and many others do ask for them now. It is once again- just a piece of the puzzle- if the AP scores don't mesh with the rest of your app it may raise a flag- but al in all they are just one more thing that can be used to evaluate your academic achievement. But then again...what do I know...I'm not an admin!!!

The colleges I'm applying to don't have places on their apps to report AP scores, so I'm guessing "no."

But I'm also guessing it depends on the colleges you want to apply to.
