Finding out if a score is available BEFORE dishing out $8

Any way to do this?

yea, when you call, they tell you if any of your scores are unavailable before they charge you

Bull. I called a few days ago and got three of my scores but was never told that my Spanish score was unavailable. I don't want to pay $8 again for nothing.

I just called again to double-check, and sure enough, your credit card number is demanded of you before you hear anything.

Whenever I call, the process is like this:

Blah blah blah want to see scores?
*Type in AP Number and birth date*
Some of your scores are not available at this time.

I do not get a credit card number prompt before being informed that some of my scores are not available.

Hmm, maybe I missed it the first time and now it's available? Haha...I dunno. Maybe I'll just wait.
