Imp. Reminder about score sending

Students, for those of you who took AP exams in more than one calendar year and are just now sending those scores:

Make sure that you include all possible "AP" numbers (exam registration numbers) when you request score sending. For seniors, for example, if you took exams in May of '07 and in May of '08, & wish both sets to be sent to the college of enrollment simultaneously, you'll want to avoid extra fees. (2 diff. reports for two diff. AP #'s/years.) You can call collegeboard and ask them to information-merge the 2 years. That step (for free, for a change) saves you the additional $15 for a second report, and it ensures that neither year will be missed. I would do this immediately, since the routine sending of scores to previously named colleges (if you named them) will happen immanently, like the end of next week. (It takes a few business days to complete the merge electronically after you request it by phone.)

I was told that non-rush reporting is 5 to 7 business days. There should be no need to "rush" scores for an add'l $10.
