Hi,
Sorry I'm posting another thread! I've tried so many textbooks but they're all really confusing!
I'm trying to self-study over the summer, & I still can't find a good textbook for any of these:
Chemistry (I tried Zumdahl...too confusing)
Economics
Human Geography
World History
you're going to miss lab experience. its not really crucial for the exam but a lot of schools want to see your labs. you obviously are not going to be running labs in your kitchen so i think its a waste of time.
but if you really do have a genuine interest in it then go for it. try chemistry the central science, ive heard its good... not sure of the author, just type it into amazon something will come up.
thanks stephannn! im not really self-studying ap chem, im taking it next yr but the teachers pretty bad. so i guess its kinda like self-study. thanks, yeah, i heard that chemistry: the central science is good. my school uses zumdahl, i tried reading it but it made me hate chemistry.
haha no problem... i wouldn't buy another textbook, you could get barrons.. my friend had barrons and it was as thick as a textbook but was much cheaper
