National AP Scholar Consideration?

Does the Calc AB subscore count as an additional AP score for the National AP Scholar recognition? I have 8 scores (one 3), not including the AB subscore, so I was wondering if the subscore counts as my ninth.

Another related question:

If you have already taken Calculus BC, can you take Calculus AB the next year and have it count as another, separate test for National AP Scholar Consideration?

Yeah...I took Calc AB sophomore year and BC the subsequent year. CollegeBoard counted that as two tests towards National AP Scholar.

You could, but it would be better to take a different AP class. It doesn't make sense to take AB after BC because
1. You already know everything
2. You're taking an AP class for the sake of an award, which is bad.

jamesford:

If I do take AB after taking BC, I'm planning to take another extra AP test along with Calc AB, so that I would still qualify even if I didn't take AB. I don't like to take the cheap way out, but I'd like to hedge my bets. I don't want to take an AP class for the sake of an award, but if I'm within reach I might as well help myself out with an extra AP test that I'm sure I can do well on.

I just wanted to be sure that taking AB would count as a different test for National AP Scholar Consideration, even though I would be taking it AFTER BC rather than before like most do.

It'd count. But that's really shameful just for safety. :<

can't you do some other AP test that's really easy? it'd look waaaaaaaaaayyy better.
