How's MIT's architecture program?

How's MIT's architecture program comparing to those in Cornell, Upenn, or other top ones in the States?

You may wish to clarify if you are discussing undergrad or grad. It is confusing because for UNDERGRAD:
Cornell is BArch
MIT is BA
UPenn is BS
Therefore, Cornell, with its BArch is a highly rated program (often rated as number one)
Penn and MIT are good places for the non professional arch undergrad experience and are pretty solid in that regard as they are universities that have an arch school and its resources, but they are not going to be ranked or regarded along with BArch programs.

All three for GRAD have MArch programs. All three are very well regarded for graduate schools or architecture.

When we spoke with admissions people at Yale, UPenn, UVa they advocated their undergraduate programs (BS/BA) over the BArch as providing a well rounded education in the liberal arts to serve as a foundation for the graduate MArch.

MIT people, on the other hand, described their program as providing a well rounded education in math and science to serve as a foundation for the graduate MArch.

D is in a BArch program, but looked into all the options. I just thought the way MIT phrased it was interesting. Not unexpected, but interesting.
