Check out Virginia Tech, too. My S's stats mirror yours and he is also interested in architecture, but is leaning toward landscape arch. We visited VT and he was very impressed with their program. He applied ED there. It is a BARCH program and apparently does very well with placing its graduates. Has a tremendous reputation here in our state (Va). I think it would be fairly inexpensive, even to an out of stater, as it is a state school. I wish you all of the best in your upcoming decisions!
You didn't mention any SATIIs. You will need at least one in math for Cornell, even with the ACT, but hopefully you know that already. Syracuse also likes a strong portfolio. Best of luck to you : )
