im applying early decision to rpi architecture because it is a great engineering school and a great school in general.
one thing ive noticed is that it is not on any architecture school rankings anywhere really. Is there a reason for this?
I was under the impression that it was a pretty competitive program, possibly harder to get into then syracuse yet syracuse has a very high ranking, any info??
I don't think RPI is more difficult to get into than Syracuse. Last year they sent my daughter a brief one-page priority application. She was accepted very early in December with major money. A Professor called the house to congratulate her and invited her to sit in on his class. I think they we're trying to "buy her". It does have a strong program and is well recognized in the field. The only bad thing is that's in Troy NY.
