Hey guys,

I'm an international student.
I want to study an M.Arch (3yr) in one of the following cities: New York, Chicago, Seattle & Toronto. Basically in a big American city
I have applied to the following schools in these 4 cities:

University of Toronto
Pratt Institute
Parsons
CCNY @ CUNY
IIT
University of Washington - Seattle

The only family I have in North America live in Las Vegas (I wouldn't mind being there), but I hear UNLV isn't such a hot school, so I've written it off.

Are there any other schools I should be considering/applying to?

well, you're missing the two big ones in NY- Columbia and Cornell.

Yeh, Columbia requires that students have several courses in Architecture before they can apply, which I dont have.
And Cornell isn't in New York City itself.

In Boston/Cambridge: Harvard, MIT
(Maybe Boston College of Architecture or Northeastern. I'm not sure if they have the MArch.)
In Providence: RISD
In Philadelphia: Penn
In St. Louis: Washington University

just so you know, the vast majority of schools prefer candidates with preporatory coursework. If you do get accepted to one without any, they'll most likely require that you take it before you show up for classes there.

I think it is late to be asking this as many schools' deadlines have passed. As well, while location is one criteria, it is the ONLY criteria you have mentioned and surely should not be the sole criteria in selecting a graduate school. They may not all fit you. You may be overlooking great schools that are good matches for you and you may apply to some not so great schools by this criteria alone.

Momrath mentioned some others in cities. There is also UCLA and UC-Berkeley.
