How close is ASU to Chase Field and US Airways Center?

How easy would it be for students to go to some Diamondbacks and Suns games?

As I recall, the new transit rail system is in place and our tour guide at ASU said it is quite easy to get to the pro sports venues. I would search Tempe/Phoenix metro area public transportation sites for more info, but I remember a stop on the north edge of Tempe campus.

Take the lightrail takes about 15 minutes, not bad at all.

ASU students can ride the light rail for free.

Students who live at the downtown campus have a ten minute walk.

I went to a diamondbacks game last monday. Walked to the light rail, a fifteen minute ride. Done. US Airways is right there too.

It takes about 20-25 minutes if you take the light rail.
