las casas- west campus

just wondering if anyone here is going to the west campus like me and how much they know about las casas. All I know is that they are like apartments. Do you know if a fridge and stuff is provided and etc.?

Hi there. My son attended ASU - West this past Fall and lived in Las Casas for the semester. Yes, they are set up like mini-apartments. He was in a unit that had four single bedrooms, two bedrooms on either side of the small living area. There were two bathrooms in the unit as well. The middle area was a common kitchen area with a full size refrig, a stove and dishwasher ... there was a small size living room as well. The kids had to supply dishes, cookware, etc. Nothing is provided by ASU except the appliances.

There are also doubles at Las Casas and those suites are set up a little different. If I were you, try to get into a single ... the doubles are smaller and the shared space for two people was super small!

Honestly, neither he nor any of his apartment mates remained at ASU - West after one semester. My son transferred out (he's now out of state) and the other three moved either to Tempe or Downtown. Please let me know if you have any specific questions and I will try to answer them, or I'll email my son and get the answers.

Hope this helps & good luck to you!

That doesn't sound too promising. At first, I liked the West campus but the more I learn, the more iffy I get. I am only going to the West campus because of a New College Grant. I'll give it a shot for the semester/year. I was just wondering one more thing: what furniture is provided. Are there couches and chairs and stuff or no?
Thanks
