Yeah good school, though are they making the campus smaller or building onto it?

The new BHC structure is HUGE.

While I would like to think that the increase in applicants could be predominately attributed to the increased recognition of BHC, I feel it would be unfair to ignore the financial downturn's effect on the ability of prestigious AZ students to go out of state. Still, I'm thankful for the success of the honor's college.

As a recently graduated Barrett student, I am also inclined to believe that it is a mixture of both financial fears and increasing reputation. The BHC has had a pretty steady climb in applications, but there was a huge national merit rush this year that is probably in part from the bad economy. That being said, ASU is slowly (and I might add, arduously!) changing its reputation thanks to things like the BHC. I attended the BHC graduation. Thumbing through the lists of future plans, I was amazed at how many students were on their way to top programs in all sorts of fields.
