This has gotten long and most of us do not have the technological expertise to roll it up into sections like Thesbohemian did.
I know how to do that. I'll start a Part 10, make "Best Theatre Schools in the Country" Part 9, and have them all linked to the new page if we can get Collegemom or one of the other moderators to close this and the other one out to keep things orderly after I do it. I don't have time to mess with it tonight, but I'll see what I can do tomorrow. If you want to learn to do links and quotes yourself, hit the "Go Advanced" button on the reply feature, scroll to the bottom of the page, and open the vB code section on the bottom left for "how tos." It's really not difficult.

As for the monologue question, I personally believe that you should feel equally confident about all your monologues. They're your babies and you should feel strongly about all of them though each should be different. If you don't feel that way about them, you should keep looking. Really, you should always keep looking and become a monologue collector of sorts.

Hi everyone!

This thread IS getting long and this is a good time of year to start a new "part 9" for our Theatre/Drama Colleges topic.

First, I will close this thread. I will link to the new "Part 9" so anyone who reads this thread, knows how to find the continuation of the discussion.

I'll take the newish thread "best theater schools in the country" and have that start off "Part 9". I don't want to then go to a "Part 10" so soon. I'll put a link to the beginning of the new "Part 9" that goes back to this thread (Part 8). The "Part 9" will be just that.....the continuation of the general theater college discussion, but simply starting with the subtopic of "best theater schools" which DesperateScholar started, but it can go off in any direction, like always.

Keep the posts coming!
