Best Days for OV (DIII)

My son has been offered to DIII OV's and I am uncertain as to the best days to schedule these. It has been our experience that DI OV's are usually offered on the weekend (I remember my daughter doing either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun - can't really remember). The DIII coaches just say whatever works best for you between Sept-end of Oct. and of course you should include a game or practice day. Any thoughts?

DIII coaches say that because you are the one paying for transportation. So yes, that sounds about right.

All of my DIII visits are scheduled during the week. Best time would probably be when he doesn't have school and so when he visits, he doesn't miss a lot of work. Also, if he has multiple visits, maybe space them out evenly Sept-Oct so he can catch up on work.

Hoped this helped...

We did want to be there for classes/class, so we did a couple Thurs eve/Fri/Sat, and a Sun-Tues Midwest tour over Columbus day. It unfortunately snowed so Carleton was out of luck!(also Mac and St Olaf)

Son says he'll be alright with schoolwork, so we are going Saturday-Tuesday, that way he can see a game, check out the surrounding towns and then have his OV on Monday night which will include an interview at the school and seeing a team practice.(we are leaving Monday morning). Other schools are more local, so we have already seen games.
