Does anyone know the process for an athlete wanting to transfer?
Is it the same as applying as a freshman, should my son contact coaches at schools he is interested in transferring to? Can coaches help in the admission process for transfers the same way they can help admit a freshman?
The transfer question is always answered with...it depends. Acutally, it depends on many things. I suggest you read the NCAA transfer guide (URL below) and call the NCAA about your particular situation. By reading the guide, you will understand the requirments, definitions and language.
