I just wanted to update everyone and say that I got accepted! War Eagle! Thanks to everyone who has helped answer the questions I've asked in this forum. I want to thank audellmom especially for all the input on my situation. Thank you!

I'm lucky to have gotten in with an ACT score of 23 and a 2.8 GPA (freshman-junior). Although, I don't believe those stats alone got me in. As you can see, my GPA is very low and my ACT score is nothing special. I drove down to Auburn, by myself, met with the head admissions recruiter there, and was lucky to get appointments set with the head of the college I wanted to be a part of. We sat down and spoke for an hour and I truly expressed my interest in going to the school, so I definitely believe that helped.

Not too long after that, I checked my online application status, and low and behold "Accepted for Admission".

Anyways, that's my story! War Eagle!

Hey, congratulations! Your diligence and initiative paid off. I'm sure going to Auburn and personally meeting with admissions and a dean sealed the deal -- very smart to do this. War Eagle!

awwww... congrats!!!! my son is in his sophomore year at auburn and loves it! he was accepted to uga and clemson. (we live in ga) just goes to show you how important the feeling of "fit" is. wish you the best success and happiness!
