You should know Auburn is trying to increase it's average ACT scores and GPA though, so they are being a bit more stringent on admissions this year. However, I believe 3.8 and 25 should be acceptable for admission, since she's applied early. It's not enough to get her a scholarship or anything though, if that's what you were hoping.
They do give credit for classes (I got credit for ENGL 1100 because of my english scores) but I'm not sure the cutoff, because I made very high on the english section (32). I think English actually might be the only one they do it for. Everyone has to take the math placement test before CWE to see where you place for math classes. I'm not sure about science (I didn't do very well on the science part, compared to the english score).
As far as I know, the 2009 housing is mainly for freshmen. Very few upperclassmen tend to live on Auburn's campus, for whatever reason (cheaper off-campus in alot of places, for one). It looks like it will be really nice; they will be suite-style with a common room between (four?) rooms. It's pretty close to resident parking. They're getting right along with the construction too. However, you should know some drawbacks too. It is further away from central campus than either the hill or especially the quad; it's a bit of a trek from that part of campus to Haley Center. I'm sure there will be a bus, and they are always improving the Tiger Transit. Just some things to think about!
