What are my chances?

Okay I'm a white male, and a junior. I have a 3.76 GPA.
On my first SAT I got a 1200.
640 Math
560 Critical Reading
570 Writing
8 on essay
AP- Junior year- AP English 11, AP US Histroy
Senior Year- AP Bio, AP Stats, AP Pyschology.
EC- 4 year letterman in tennis. Captain of tennis team. Key club, club earth, young republican club.

Shouldn't be a problem. Not the best SAT score as far as scholarships are concerned though. Take the ACT and see if you can do better. With your GPA, an ACT score of 30 should get you a full tuition scholarship.

Personal question - What makes you want to come all the way down here from VA to go to Auburn?

My mom went to Auburn, as did my aunt and 90% of my cousins.

And how or what scholorships should I apply for? How do I know if I'm eligible.

You are automatically eligible for the scholarships offered through Auburn once you get accepted. THe Academic Non-Resident will get you 2/3rds tuition paid for w/ a 30+ on the ACT, or full tuition (plus other perks) with a 33+ on the ACT (with your GPA).

Very interesting. Is that a gaurantee if you get a 30 or just for eligibility? I am not very familiar with the ACT, most people in VA just take the SAT.

I do not know. For what it's worth, I don't know of anyone that met the requirements that didn't get the scholarship.

If I were you I would get one of those ACT self help books, study your rear end off, and take the NEXT avaliable ACT test and apply to Auburn as soon as they start taking Freshmen Fall 2010 applications.
