Chances (Auburn)

I am ending my Jr. Year and here are the stats that I think I will have next fall when applying;

GPA: 3.13
Weighted: 3.7 (about 12 honors, 3 AP)

(Note: my GPA freshman year was about a 2.6, sophomore year about a 3.4 and Jr year about a 3.5. I have taken more credits than needed in almost every subject)

SAT:
Math; 650
Reading; 610
Writing; 630
(Taking the ACT in June)

I'm really involved with my school.

I have been class president for the past 3 years, and was recently elected for a 4th year. I am the first person at my school to be elected all 4 years as class president.

Clubs I'm in:

-Young democrats (Vp jr.year, President Senior year)
-STAND (VP)
-Persian Club
-AIDS peer educating group
-Homecoming/Prom committee
-Track (indoor & out door)
-Student ambassador at graduation (4 years)
-National Honors Society

Outside of school, I have worked at a quiznos for 2 years, and now work for a child abuse clinic. I have also volunteered for a few political campaigns.

I'm from Montgomery County, Maryland. I go to a public school. Montgomery County is supposed to be one of the best public school education systems in the country.

I have a few awards for things such as leadership and academics.

What are my chances at Auburn?

Not only do you have a great chance of getting in, your GPA and SAT scores qualify you for a non-resident academic scholarship ($3500/yr). Just make sure you apply by Dec 1, which is Auburn's deadline for scholarship consideration. Good luck!
