I'm an international student and will not be able to visit the campus to see for sure if Austin is for me.
But, is the campus politically active? Does it swing more towards the democrats or towards the republicans? Is it liberal (like reed or oberlin or brown)?

Hi Purplemist,
I replied to your other thread about Southwestern, and would suggest the same for your questions about Austin College- contact the school for the email addresses of the leaders of the college republicans and university democrats (or equivalent) and ask them directly about their membership numbers and activities. I hope you find the perfect fit!

I live about an hour south of AC, and I'd say fairly liberal.
