Got the email today...

Got an email today from BW stating I got into the Conservatory of Music...so I'm into the BM Musical Theatre program! Very happy. Loved the school, cannot wait to visit again.

CONGRATS!!! I'm so excited for you! Who sent you an email? I don't think they've ever sent acceptances via email before.

Update...

I received the official letter in the mail. Quite skinny and way ahead of the March 13th date the Conservatory office told me a week ago.

I did make a mistake, however, in claiming that I received an email out of the blue from the admissions office. I was checking my status online and actually got an email because of that! I didn't put two and two together...considering I didn't think I would get an email from the Conservatory regarding admission!

Here are the instructions for checking status online:

http://www.bw.edu/admission/apply.asp, log in, and then under "My to do list", click on "Check your application status online"

Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back from BW.

Fallofstage, it's funny cause your results right now are the same as mine were at this time last year. I had acceptances to PPU, Millikin and BW with one non-audition school too. Where else are you waiting from? Or perhaps you'll end up at BW just like me?!

I got accepted to BW conservatory for MT today, also.

For some reason, it says I have a concentration in voice? does everyone get that or what?

I checked the "My to do List" and it just says that decisions will be made in March 2006. I'm guessing that maybe they don't give rejections online...? Also, when did you guys audition?

Voice is your primary instrument that you study at the conservatory. You also have to study a secondary instrument which for most people ends up being piano.

Benjygil- I auditioned on January 21st. When did you audition broadwaycorey? I know of a guy named Gavi on my day that also got into BW.

BWMT09- I am still waiting to hear from Otterbein, Hartt, Ithaca, Webster, and Emerson.
