Yes, you come with 3 16-bar cuts. Vicky will choose two of them when you walk into the audition room. 16 bars isn't really true. It can be longer, like if it's an uptempo. Just make sure you don't cut the song in the middle of a phrase in order to get 16 bars. I would say as long as your cut is less then a minute you're fine. Vicky won't cut you off, unless you are taking forever. And yes, only one monologue is required for the audition. Good luck!!! Will you be at the audition on Sat?

Yes, I will be one of the students running the auditions. Yes, there should be about 50 people auditioning this weekend so it'll be a little bit hectic, but there are no auditions for other programs in the conservatory so that should help. At the beginning of the audition I will probably introduce myself to everyone so you'll probably see me then. Don't be nervous, it's a really good audition experience. Good Luck!

Tim, quick question. I will not be able to make it to audition this weekend for MT. I know it is the last audition, sadly lol. I got accepted academically. Lets say I go and do a BA in Theatre Performance my freshman year. Could I potientally audition and transfer into the BM in Musical Theater or not?

Yes, that's very possible. You don't have to go here to transfer in, cause most likley you'd have to start as a freshman anyways. The only way you can transfer in is if there is a spot open for your type in the class. I would call the admissions office and see if maybe sending in a tape (if you have time to make one within the next week) could be an option. I'm not sure if that's even allowed, but it's just a suggestion.

I would just like to say congrats to all of the 2006/2007 auditioners. It was the best turnout yet this year and we're really excited for next years incoming freshmen. Don't feel bad if you do not recieve a spot in the program. There was a lot of talent this year, and we just don't have enough spots. All decisions have been made and letters will be going out no later then March 1st. If you do receive an acceptance, you have until May 1st to reply. And as soon as you know your decision, please let us know right away, whether it be yes or no, so that we can inform waitlisters as soon as possible. Hope to maybe see a few of you next year!

And i think i saw you yesterday but i wasnt sure if it was you so i didnt introduce myself. Did you have like a green shirt on and like a purple tie???
